The declaration, letter and finance plan had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. A Declaration of Disaster Emergency and initial finance plan dated September 5, 2023 authorizing additional disaster relief (above budgeted General Fund) due to increased fire suppression activities, with an accompanying letter, was received pursuant to AS 26. 23. 020. The declaration, letter and finance plan had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. A letter dated September 29, 2023 was received regarding Hazard Mitigation Grant Program-Post Fire funds pursuant to AS 26.23.020. The letter had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. A Declaration of Disaster Emergency and initial finance plan dated October 2, 2023 authorizing funds for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough as a result of flooding and riverbank destruction, with an accompanying letter, was received pursuant to AS 26.23.020. The declaration, letter and finance plan had been copied to the Finance Committee Cochairs. Communications The following was received and is on file in the Office of the Secretary of the Senate: HB 39 Letter dated August 28 from the Division of Legislative Finance identifying the fiscal notes included in the packet that accompanied SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 39(FIN) am S "An Act making appropriations for the operating and loan program expenses of state government and for certain programs; capitalizing funds; repealing appropriations; amending appropriations; making capital appropriations, supplemental appropriations, and reappropriations; and providing for an effective date" which was adopted by the House and Senate on May 18.
